Established in 1999, the DHZ is a perfomance-focused bike shop that is rider owned and operated. From the most intricate custom builds to breathing life into your neglected steed, the wrenchwork at the Downhill Zone is known far and wide to be consistently excellent. Real-world advice is readliy available, often saving you money, time and headaches. The goal is to help guide you towards your perfect riding experience. Be it a DH race run, Garbo hot laps, flowy soul rides with friends or your daily commute, the DHZ is here to help you get the most out of your 2-wheeled pursuits. Another full custom build from the DHZ. Took the orange/red theme pretty far on this one. Keeping it real with 26" wheels and a stock 1x10! King hubs/headset, Hope brakes, a bunch of Straitline goodies and some pretty buttery Fox Racing Shox to keep the wheels on the ground. Looks as good as it rides!

Pivot Mach 4 Carbon 27.5

Beautiful trail weapon from the minds and hands at the DHZ. A new school take on a traditional XC bike. Sub 25lbs with 130mm of travel up front and 115mm out back. XO1 drivetrain w/Turbine cranks, DT XR Spline wheels and XT brakes to shut it all down.

About yourself: My name is Tyler Gilsdorf. I am a junior at Washington State University studying Geotechnical Engineering. I have been racing for a decade now and I have loved every moment. It has been the best learning and growing experience I could have ever asked for. Any day I am out in the woods ripping up corners and going fast is a good day! :)
